Yeah, I didn't like mechanists one bit. I just included them to be complete. I didn't vote for them.

I was surprised to see that there were more Taffers who wanted to include Pagans than there were who preferred to see Mechanists. Just sayin'.
I like the thought of seeing all the old regulars included in T4. I especially liked the challenge of pitting Garrett against fellow but adversarial thieves.

It might be fun to see some crazy mechanists living off the ruins of Karras' former inventions and worshiping his talking children. Perhaps without Karras they no longer have the ingenuity to make new inventions or upkeep what they have.
You could have the Children of Karras patched together with scrap metal, and some hideous botched attempts at servants. Everything would be decayed and a shadow of the former glory.
And it would be the perfect excuse to bring back some creepy screeching gold children. In fact, one could become a main character! One that gains sentience and thinks he is Karras incarnate. Just an idea. ;)

I can't imagine Thief without Hammerites. Mechanists or Pagans to me are not absolutely necessary for IV. But I would also like to see a new one. And of course the "undead faction" needs to return. And Keepers, obviously.

I'm probably the only one here that doesn't care if the keepers return. I think its time for some new blood as the main faction.
And of course, keep the Hammers.
