Apparitions are the ghostly AI that talk at high speed backwards
Slightly off topic, but has anyone tried playing their sound files backwards to find out what they're saying?

Heh heh. Of course... It's clips from when Viki has ripped out Garrett's eye and is talking all demon Pagan to him. The clips are pitch-shifted up and down, too.
Here's the first thread where it was transcribed, by Black:

Notice how in appa0__6, two phrases from the cutscene are put into a different order.
Appa0__1 = "...leafs that feeders on the fleshéd ones, and wielded ..."
appa0__2 = "...leafs that feeders on the fleshéd ones, and wielded up a..."
appa0__3 = "Bidsie him the Spruces, to singer hymn an anthems, and the Woodsie Lord binders them fleshes to stone!"
appa0__4 = "Bidsie him the Spruces, to singer hymn an anthems, and the Woodsie Lord binders them fleshes to stone!"
appa0__5 = "Bow to the Woodsie Lord, and offer up your flesh-eye so that his Eye of stone may see, Manfool!"
appa0__6 = "...fleshes to stone! Bow to the Woodsie Lord, and offer up your flesh-eye so that his Eye of stone may see, Manfool!"

The apparitions' lines are actually pagan speak? That's kind of funny - I've always associated them with the Hammers. :D

Yeah. If you think about the fanon idea that the Trickster may have had something to do with what happened in the Old Quarter, having the Hammers speaking backwards Pagan shows a hellish existence, if not just a total corruption of the soul. :ebil:

Non-human AI are my weakness. Voted nearly for all (except puppets and statues).
For me, the outstanding ones are swimming or flying enemies. It will add some challenge - you'll have to find a way to hide in water (and not to drown while waiting!) or search for a shelter in the open air.

Stupid burricks... Ugly creatures. I cannot understand how can you like them but whatever...
jtr7 on 15/5/2009 at 02:42
They're like big dogs, horses, pigs, and dewbacks in one.

I like 'em, myself. I've gotten over the reason they were invented, and grown fond.
