Assuming you have a good monitor set to it's max native brightness, what ingame brightness do you use?
This is the first time I asked, but I suspect it's a preference thing. Some may want to see everything, even in total darkness, while others might want the game to be more dim.
I run it at 8/12 in the game options. I like to be able to see clearly, even in total darkness. But too bright is fugly for a taffer like me.

Note: if you run it not exactly on the major ticks, but in between two, just give a vote to both the surrounding major ticks.

5 - mostly to correct what gamma issues I can't tweak any further out of my LCD and display properties. At 5, shadows are very dark, but you can still tell where shadowed areas are darker than neighboring spots

I mostly play at max brightness, i have vision problems and sometimes really dark screens can exascervate that.
