The cheapest i7 configuration comes with a 256GB drive and is £1,339.00. Yeah, significantly cheaper than a Macbook, but still quite far outside of my "BUY-IT-NOW",
technolust threshold.
Don't forget that the Pro 3 has a touch display AND a pressure-sensitive pen, making it a laptop + tablet + artsy-fartsy-thingy-for-drawing. The MacBook Pro is only a seamless aluminum container containing an x86 computer and a screen that will hurt your retina.

...but it's so gooooood. I know I can get considerably faster for nearly half the price, but damnit! SOOOO GOOOOOD!
And don't make fun of that screen. That screen is awesome. Even if it glossy.

Vita means death. Steamboy will be best handheld ever.

So this is, errr, weird. Interesting but I seriously doubt it'll take off.

Really depends what it can do. I'd be up for playing PC games on the move. I'm sure there'll be some title restrictions, but if enough games in my library have a Steamboy icon next to them, it'll be worth it.

Platform games would work as would a fair few indie games. I don't see FPS, RTS games on it though. It's a nice idea.

This is so obviously fake.

Bear in mind that their Steam controller is designed around being able to control stuff like Portal. Given how a large number of games are designed cross-platform and thus controller-friendly these days, I wouldn't rule out stuff like Skyrim being playable on it (dependent on Spec of course). Unless it is actually fake of course. In which case, someone needs to make it not fake.

Do you mean the people making it are lying?
Briareos H on 16/6/2014 at 13:27
I mean the 'people behind it' are in all likelihood a single guy/gal who made a CG render (with wildly inappropriate music and lettering for a Valve-sanctioned product teaser) for the lulz during their spare time.

And you still think this despite it being on all sorts of news sites? Google it.
