Welp, nothing is ever as awesome as it sounds I guess.
Regardless, I'm not gonna let you guys ruin it for me!:p I'm still gonna play the game regardless, just a matter of time...
(No I didn't pre-order and I don't have a copy yet.:nono:)

That sucks. It also goes against all of these slobbering reviews I read. They state that it gets quite involved after briefly introducing you to a new mechanic. Oh well.
Well, there's usually maybe 3-4 increasing difficult tests after introducing the new mechanics, with the later ones also mixing in earlier mechanics. What i was talking about was that there aren't enough really complex puzzles using all the mechanics, once they've all been introduced.

Or maybe that's what the co-op campaign is like.
Not really, it's similar to SP, and the first few tests in each sequence (there are five sequences, eight tests in each) are almost just tutorials. There are some hilariously awesomely convoluted tests though, just not enough of them.

Portal 2 is definitely harder than Portal 1 though. The new mechanics could all have been stretched out and the MP could have been longer and tougher but overall it's solid fun and well worth it imho. I was expecting a final crazy level with all the new stuff in it though, and it just never quite happened.
If you want really tough Portal challenges download some of the fan made stuff; some of it is ridiculously complex. If FMs for Portal 2 MP are possible expect to see some insanity.

Yeah, no doubt. I bet those could get wild.

RIght now, you will run into problems linking your PS3 copy with Steamworks. Reason being, Steamworks integration also requires you to be signed into your PSN account, and Playstation Network has been down since Wednesday.

Whenever I read news about Anonymous's supposed dealings I like to substitute every "Anonymous" with "Some guy on the Internet".
Try it

This.
I finally finished the singleplayer campaign yesterday and whilst it was pretty much uniformly excellent it's unfortunate there's no massive puzzle where they go all-out with all the mechanics - even if it had been in the form of an Advanced Test Chamber outside the main campaign, like there were some in the original Portal. DLC perhaps?

I'm probably going to hold off on that sentiment until I complete the multiplayer.
