SPOILER: It starts at 2:30
Also, reminds me of of these 3D movies with talking animals. In one word - unamusing.

Hidden questionnaire asks bizarre questions. I couldn't manage to complete it successfully, which makes me suspect that failure is the only option.

Amusing test. I wonder if the flashing letters have any meaning.
Edit: Of course they do :) (and seem to be the point of the test)

That's the old Portal ARG quiz, isn't it? Yeah, you can't ever type in the right UIN number because there isn't one. If you look closely at the number when it's given to you, it changes a character here and there each time it flashes. Deviously clever.
Al_B on 23/7/2010 at 14:52
Yes - I spotted that (after I started copying it down!). I meant the slowly flashing letters during the test itself - not the UIN.

Portal 2 MP will be cross platform playable between PS3 and PC!

And in addition buying it on PS3 will get it free for you on PC via Steamplay (buying on one platform gives you the game free on another - currently only working between Mac and PC)!
I think I'm going to have to get the PS3 version, unless the price difference is silly.

Yeah, this is huge news, and one in the eye for Microsoft and the caste system that is xbox Live.
Hopefully, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The other interesting thing is that Sony have shown that they're willing to allow users to play with a USB mouse and keyboard (see Unreal Tournament 3). If they do this for Portal 2, then imagine what will happen if they finally release Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 on the PS3 with the same agenda.
At the moment, it's not possible to buy the PC version of Portal 2 and get the PS3 one for free, and I'm guessing this is down to licensing issues. But imagine if it were, and it started happening for all Steamplay-based games.
Gabe once said that the only way to beat piracy is to offer a better service than the pirates could provide, and I think we're starting to see this goal realised.

One more step for Valve in their quest for PC monopoly. I think I'm going to shoot myself.

If there had to be a "PC monopoly" I can't think of many companies I'd rather have in control of it than Valve.

What nicked said. And I'd totally watch vH shoot himself if it happened.
