GlaDOS is the G-Man.

Goddammit. Now I want to extract a bunch of GlaDOS samples and try to cut them together to make the opening monologue of HL2.

When its simply for illustration purposes, though, I think it can be forgiven.
I'm strangely attracted to the four-panel thing next to the window. Just curious as to what's on it, since you can't really see it that well.
It almost looks like one of those sensory stimulating mobiles that are all the rage in the upper-middle class nurseries.

It's just an ornament. You guys haven't seen these in RL? I'm not a fan but I've seen loads.
Enchantermon on 11/4/2010 at 17:41
Yeah, I've seen them before, I'm just interested to know what's on it. I guess all the viral marketing Valve is doing for Portal 2 has got me on my toes.

Did anyone else here find Portal fucking terrible? Not to mention patronising? The puzzles were straightforward and the narrator was just fucking annoying. HAHA CAKE... ZANY!!! few more puzzles... LOOK I'm a ANOTHER VALVE GAME with the trademark one-size-fits-all tropes and I'm here CAKE to teach everyone to SUCK EGGS (again) btw this is what REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY means for all of of our customers who've never seen a movie or read a book or played a decent video game before, let alone interacted with humans... few more puzzles... another joke about CAKE
HAHA THERE'S NO CAKE LOL
Oh cute the computer is singing the theme credits our fans are gonna love this! :3 GUYS LET'S THROW IN SOME PICTURES OF CAKE AFTER THE CREDITS
CAKE
I think it will be best if I torrent my future Valve purchases and test them before I buy them from now on (like it will make a difference when every man and his dogs spooges all over the next game). The last few single-player Valve games have been terrible (Their multiplayer has been kind of meh, and I hate how they are dominating the market, but their push away from CS-style MP games to focus on teamwork is commendable).
I bought into their marketing for a long time, but I was pretty pissed off with the unadulterated linearity and boredom of the last Half-Life 2 snooze-fest (pretty much like the whole HL saga, but with added Valve zealotry and gloss)
:bored:

Clearly you liked it enough to finish it. I thought the puzzles were fun, original, and had a good difficulty curve. And the cake thing only became annoying after the entire internet memed it to death.
If you don't like Valve games, why play them at all? And why rant about it in a Portal thread?
