I downloaded them recently. I'm not at home right now but I can temporarily upload the files for you if you like. They are all the thief gold missions ever converted to thief 2 (about 6 of them). No other missions have been available unfortunately.
Yeah that would be really great! Thank you!

Then you are talking about an insane amount of effort to accomplish basically... nothing.
It's sort of a fun side thing. The end goal is nothing of value other than knowledge and fun.

also, it's probably in a very gray zone, legally wise.

The guy who ported most of the T1/TG missions released many, many great fan missions before that. He knew exactly what he was doing since he had a lot of experience in that field.

Only if he plans to share it with others. If this is really just a fun learning exercise, it will be really difficult if he's inexperienced, but a good exercise. There are certainly many what I would consider better and more worthwhile ways to get experienced with Dromed and Dark, but it's up to him if he wants to go about it this way I guess.

I don't see any particular reason this would be a problem unless these missions were copied and spread around.
:erm:
If I had unlimited time, the goal of this would be to have all 31 Thief missions in a single campaign run. Starting with the Training Mission, next being Lord Bafford's Manor, and ending with Sabotage at Soulforge.
But for now, just interested in porting the maps and learning. : ]

Well, I found three of those missions in my hard disk and have just uploaded them for you.
Lord Bafford's Manor, Down in the Bonehoard and Return to the Cathedral.
You'll see some different textures and the goals translated into Spanish if I recall correctly, but if you have the Thief Gold resources, then that should be no problem.

Because exiting one game and starting up another
twice over the course of, at best, a WEEK, is such an imposition? That is literally the only thing that would be gained. Nevermind that there's a subjective gap of months or years between TDP, TMA, and TDS, so rampaging straight from one into the other doesn't even make sense. And of course TDS runs on a completely different engine from the two previous games, so to make your insane dream happen you'd be looking at reproducing every TDS mission from scratch in a much older engine.

So, just so I'm clear on this, the INSANE FUN would derive from the maybe 60 seconds saved switching between games. Whereas the other 99.999% of your play time would be precisely identical.
You have played Thief before, right? You do comprehend that this wouldn't be like, say, bolting Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim together into one gigantic open-world adventure. You'd still be stuck with a linear sequence of self-contained missions. Merging T1 and T2 together into a single campaign would change the gameplay to the tune of absolute nothing.

The fun would have been from learning Dromed 2 and remaking maps. Not the end result as much.
My entire house flooded some hours ago, 80k in repairs, and at least 10k in damages.
Workers using some type of vacuum on the inches of standing water right now.
Edit: computer has been saved :D
