When I optimize my map, there's a large chunk that won't compile. Dromed blocks the area off with solid walls. Prior to this error, this exact area had been isolated with an area brush. Suddenly, it quit compiling, and going into the mission resulted in a Hall of Mirrors effect, with me falling through the void. I deleted the area brush and it refuses to compile this section. It's almost like a reverse area brush.
The monolog is spewing out a bunch of "AI not in AI database."

That means that area wont pathfind for ai. Is your mission too large? V1.19 is still 1000x1000x1000. Try to create another area brush, make it "me only" and try to optimize and pathfind it. If its an area out in the open, try to build a temporary wall to block portions of your other areas, then attempt to pathfind it.

The entire map takes up an area 590 x 634 x 230. Doing just an optimize without pathfinding gives me the same result. Strange this is, there is one building inside this "dead zone" that does compile. So, the majority of the map compiles, a large square section does not, and a building inside that section does compile.
As stated earlier, the dead zone is the same exact area I had Area Brushed and worked earlier. Then I reduced the same AB, turned it 45-degrees to accommodate the building that still compiles normally, and worked it. When I deleted the AB altogether, the dead zone appeared.
I'm not getting any pathfinding errors or any other errors at all. It's like a section of the map is totally ignored as not being there. This a good day's work down the drain. I think from now on I'm gonna make incremental saves BY THE HOUR. xx1, xx2, xx3, etc.

Fixed the problem. Somehow, I had deleted the main air brush that existed in this area. Went back to an earlier version, multi-brushed it, and imported it back into it's correct place in time. Talk about a noob mistake. Man, I would've hated to have to go back and do all that work again.
