I, for one, actually had a good time w/C&C Renegade. The single player was kinda cool because it had so much to do w/the C&C universe. It gave a decent impression of being the commando inside a C&C game.
What REALLY shined, for me, was the multi-player. This was the high-point. It had some serious depth and strategy, for an FPS, and ended up being highly underrated. If the single-player game had drawn in more sales, and/or the game had been advertised a bit more, the multi-player side could have been given a fair shake. There would have been more highly-populated servers, and eventually more end-user mods/maps/& content as a whole.
Hopefully this new game will take some of this into consideration, and turn what was a great concept in Renegade, into an actual great game.

Is it just me, or are there other people who thinks that this shot looks more at home in a Terra Nova sequel than a Command and Conquer FPS?

Well, we'd prefer it if you waited until the magazine had been on the shelves for at least a month before doing scans so they get the sales they deserve for a particular article. And even then, there had better be a good reason for it :)

Well, the reason is I'm a rabid C&C fan and I can't get the mag in Poland.
But nevermind, I already managed to find a readable version :)
