Maybe in your opinion, but the vast consensus is that MM2 is the best, and it happens to be series creator, Keiji Inafune's favorite game as well.
In fact, MM4 is often cited as the point in which the series started to go downhill.
I do happen to like all of the NES Mega Man games and enjoy MM4 a lot.

Then I'm happy to go against the grain, because MM4 kicks more ass than all the others. The only one of the original 6 that kind of slipped was 6.

This thread is great! It almost makes me wish graphics never went 3D, these games are some of the best.
One of my favs is Legacy of the Wizard, amazing NES game

I tried this out this weekend, not sure what to think of it yet ...

When I first loaded it up I was immediately impressed with the controls and gameplay. After about 30 minutes though, I already got lost trying to figure out where to go next amongst the incredibly similar looking background environments.
But, the game got generally favourable reviews..
So I'm torn on this one. Think I'll wait till another time when I'm more in the mood
