As i just ordered the game, i was aiming for a Thief class - but as i haven't tried it out but been pretty much reading loads of opinions as to the skill destribution i would like to see some pictures of your hooded Thieves.
I played the Thief games quite a lot (Thief the Dark project etc.). I would like to see if the "Thief Items" more or less look the same, which imo was pretty damn nice to be honest.
Thanks in advance for posting the pictures =)

Don't have a screenshot handy, but I suspect what you really want here is the Shrouded armor from the dark brotherhood. It's pretty much as thiefy as you're gonna get.

Whoah, a Kvatch shield? Where'd you get that? I don't remember the guards there having round shields...

Generally, you can get each town's shield by either looting if off a guard's corpse or stealing it from the barracks - the exception I've encountered is the Leyawjjn shield, which you get as a quest reward too.

That Captain of the Guard guy gave it to me after I helped him retake the castle. I think. It's been a while. :(
Edit: Actually, doesn't he give a unique armor? Maybe I looted the shield from some poor dead soldier.

I think there may be a quest for each town to get a shield. I have recieved 2 with my first character. And thats not including Kvatch, if that is another possible quest reward. I had one from Anvil and one from Cheydinhal.

I don't know why, but I never envisioned Garret wearing but-huggers. doesnt seem fitting for a master thief. After every dash for the window, just before he jumps out, I could see him put his pinky to his mouth and strike a Zoolander pose looking back over his shoulder for a few seconds and then jump out escaping certain doom.

There is still chitin armor right? I remember my friend and I woudl rant about our thieves wearing chitin armor and looking so cool in it, it may have beena poor armor, but that didn't stop us from loving it anyway!

No Chitin armor this time around. Oblivion actually has a greatly reduce amount of armor types. I wish there was more, though I think more armor will most likely be added in the official plugins.
