I've been searching for about an hour now trying to find a post that can help me find the pre-saved save files for TDP as some how my game has messed up and I can't complete one of the games as it says I haven't completed one of the objectives even though I have and I'm carrying the person involved in that objective around.
I tried to download the files from the circle but it's asking me for a password and everything I thought might work (even my username and password for here) didn't let me in.
Is there anywhere else to download that file as I can't find it on google anywhere? :erg:

Hmm, that's weird. You probably didn't know this, but downloads.ttlg.com has been down because the server that was hosting the files for download got fried.:( It will be a while before downloads.ttlg.com are back. Sorry, I looked in my downloads and didn't see a copy of the save games. Perhaps someone else does.
Though I don't know why you would want it, as that is pure cheating.
Did you just try restarting the mission? Or does it happen all the time?

Is ctrl+alt+shift+end to skip the mission an acceptable alternative for you? I'm confused about this password request.
Also, I have to assume you're carrying Basso around? What's the objective you've done that hasn't checked off?

No I didn't know it had been down I haven't been playing thief for a while as by computer died but I got a new one for xmas from santa (or my credit card, can't remember which)
I've restarted the mission too and it still doesn't realise I'm carrying Cutty as I walk out the barracks. I even tried restarting the whole game and then unistalling and reinstalling it.
Don't know why it doesn't like me this time. Must be the curse of a new computer lol

pennie3297, the reason is you're carrying the wrong person, and that is why the objective won't check off. If your playing the difficulty involving Basso, you have to carry Basso out, not Cutty.

Basso! Hang on it's meant to be basso isn't it? I'm sure thats what it has been in the past. On my objectives it says Cutty is the one I'm meant to release and escape with.
I didn't know about the ctrl+alt+shift+end thing i'll try that as all i want to do is end this mission now that I've done it three times today now.

The original objective is to get Cutty out, but he dies, so that objective is removed from your list and replaced with different ones.:)

Cutty dies, you can't carry him out. What's the point in carrying out a dead body? It's been a long time since I played that mission, and I don't recall if expert requires you move his body, but I don't think so, as he's dead anyway.

He's not dead though, it say's he unconcious. Maybe thats why it wont end lol
Basso isn't mentioned anywhere. Ok it all makes sense now. Hopefully ctrl+alt+shift+end will get me out of this mess and onto the next level as i completed everything else.
