Well, Interplay have an original dev working on the Fallout MMO, maybe 2, and that's 2 more than Bethesda had working on Fallout 3.
Yes, and Ken Levine worked on System Shock 2.
Chris Taylor alone is barely somebody for Fallout, he can simulate that original Fallout feeling in 3D as much as Beth guys can, but it's the bizsuits who have the last word.
Now if Interplay managed to hire the core of the original team (Avellone, Boyarsky, Anderson...) as well that would be something solid!
Malf on 24/10/2008 at 15:56
Um, they HAVE hired Jason Anderson.
He was the first one they re-hired.

Okay, two. They're still no proof the game will be more faithful to the originals.
A lot has changed in last ten years and tastes and gameplay habits of average mainstream audience have changed a lot. It's full of newcomers used to realtime action who never played the originals. It would be naive to expect that Interplay will have satisfaction of bunch of nostalgiacs as their commercial priority when they go after MMORPG.

This. We need to stop venerating these guys just because they worked on some game ages ago that we all still slobber on, because by and large most of them just plain got lucky and they're really just mediocre hacks. Kinda like Frank Miller.

But - but Frank Miller brings me ASBaR!

ASBaR being a big self-aware joke doesn't make it any less a waste of paper.

It is the best thing in comic shops today.
Except Age of the Sentry, obv.

But I'm sure once the modding gets underway it will be worth it hopefully
Not much modding of Bioshock...
By the way, the Fallout 1 icon on my desktop is some guy's face, black hair and mustache as well as glasses. Who the hell is it and why?
