Really? I never played it. I didn't want to touch another N64 FPS after playing South Park, the controls were utterly dreadful. If anyone reckons that modern console FPS control badly, then they never have played one on the N64. Dual analogue was the best thing that ever happened to console FPSes.

The N64 didn't have much, but Turok 2 was, and in ways still is a fantastic game. Something about it just feels right. Though the whiney kids get on my nerves after a bit.
I used to hate the N64 joypad, but it actually is pretty ergonomic, and when you get use to it, its great.
Perfect Dark is another must have. I still love that game.

Goldeneye (N64) was fantastic, one of the few console games that I would consider an all-time great.
The controller was a large part of the formula that made it so IMO.
I liked Prey quite a bit, and didn't regret shelling out for the collectors edition. The weapons were unique, and the atmosphere (especially the Art Bell clips) were great.
Besides, I can't be alone here...who doesn't enjoy having highly acidic bowel movements spewed at them by giant alien anuses, just after passing through a giant (

I look forward to the sequel.

Goldeneye was one of those games that were great when you first play them then a few years later you're wondering why you liked them at all.
Hell, I'd played Quake before I played Goldeneye and my big beef with GE was that you couldn't jump. I mean, come on. About the only thing I still like about Goldeneye was the first snow stage- my first ever contact with a video game sniper rifle.

Say what you will, but any potential multiplayer aspect of the Goldeneye (
http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=19080) port that was supposed to make it's way to Xboxlive at one point would have been awesome, dated or no.
With all of the bitching and moaning on the Xbox forums about it's cancelation it seems to have had at least a fair chance at renewed success.
I'm all for 'out with the old, in with the new' but certain classics should be granted at least a modicum of immunity in terms of 'dated' status, though obviously what games
are worthy of being considered classics is a huge point of debate.

Whyyyy is this shit getting a sequel? Ok, Prey wasn't shit but it was utterly mediocre and forgettable. I played through the whole thing and I remember exactly two things about it: it has some wierd gravity which let you walk on walls in some places and the guns all had alien insects strapped to them.
Ok, I know all the Prey-fans are looking forward to this so I'm sorry for raining on your parade. I sincerely apologize, to all 5 of you.

Count me as one of the 5 then. Prey was a greatly needed breath of fresh air when it was released. Good mix of camp, old style run 'n gun shoot 'em up, and a few interesting features to the gameplay. I will be looking forward to this, if it is official (again)

I really liked it as well.
