It is sad to see a FM fade into oblivion.
Can't imagine why translating into english takes more then a year.
Some polish folks surely should be able to help there.

It's not only translation, it's an enhanced edition. And Timon is a bit busy with some real life issues to take care of it properly right now. You have to be patient.

I had the same 'issue' with the safe - but managed to complete the mission yesterday.

Not sure what exactly happens, but
it seems you need to explore the house again after you used the first code ... or you need to do something else. Don't know for sure.
Personally I exited the house and returned much later again after exploring the rest of the map.
At some point I returned and read the conversation that shows up as text between Garrett and Timon if you watch the digit-buttons again.
In that conversation a new code showed up which you need to type in then.
Once you have done that, the book you are searching for can be accessed,

I...can't find the second bottle of wine to get piece of bloodstained plaster..I have what I think is a fingerprint kit..I need what looks like about 5 pieces of plaster to finish the picture...I have jumped from the wall torch to the high doorway, can see another room from that little room with the hole in the floor and can I get into the bank..oh I also seem to have a sack...any ideas please.
