Beautiful graphics wth? It isn't nearly as pretty as Psychonauts.
So what? Can't two different style/games be pretty on their own? Dumbass.:tsktsk:

ARISE FROM THY SLUMBER etc. etc.
So it's been more than a year since the first post, but
(http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/ubisoft-reveals-new-prince-of-persia) DEJA (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/105/1050182p1.html) FREAKING VU.
They're returning to the Sands of Time arc to tie in with the Mike Newell/Bruckheimer movie. I'm crossing my fingers that Ubi Montreal and Mechner get to make this one together, but one of these fingers happens to be my big toe, so in spite of being hopeful I'm probably going to trip up and break my jaw instead.
Which would be more entertaining than the gameplay-less PoP reboot that inspired this thread, but according to the IGN link above that one sold 2.5 million copies. How the fuck'd that happen?
Good news? Well, there's always the movie if the game stinks. And if that pans out less than well too, there's always the fact that Jake Gyllenhaall is
hot - and that's even without his newfound English accent. <3

Fuck that game. They literally lopped off the definite conclusion to the story and released it as premium DLC.
To make matters worse, this DLC was exclusive to consoles. The PC port was left to rot.

"on consoles and handhelds"
Okay.
...though after that console-only PoP DLC thing, it's hardly a surprise.

I must be one of the few that actually liked the last PoP.
As for the "definite conclusion", the DLC (Epilogue) offers very little more than the original ending. Nothing is concluded at all.

I liked it too, that's why the whole console only thing annoys me.

I'd be interested to know if they ever gave an actual reason for that.
"PC Gamers? Oh, right, we forgot about them."
