I want to kick people who say they like 'popcorn flicks' in the face. That term fills me with such hate. Thats what everyone says to abdicate a truly terrible film "oh its a good popcorn flick because it has guns and explosions LOL". That is such fucking bullshit; I like a cheesy action movie as much as anyone, but they don't
make them anymore. They are ACTUALLY TRYING, just because you have absolutely no standards doesn't mean that the movie can be excused.
If you are talking about fun action movies that don't take themselves seriously, you are talking Commando, anything by Segal etc. When you make a big budget movie that tries too hard, that is utter shit. That makes it impossible for me to suspend my disbelief, because it wont acknowledge it is shit from the get-go.
"LOL X3 and Hitman are good popcorn flicks though!" No, you are just a stupid fucker who needs to eat a cinder block (I'm not directing that at anyone in particular)

I'm an austrian and RTCW is so right it aint funny.
I showed it to my grandparents, survivors of WWII from former yugoslavia and they laughed out loud and tried to make funny german voices.
concerning PrinceOfPersia.
i liked the first one, hated the second and found the third to be ok, although I never finished 2 or 3.
3 almost. i found the fighting to be a little tedious and tried to avoid it as much as possible. apart from that I'm a sucker for 1001night material,
giant spear wielding stone statues, wizards, ancient gods or some good ol pirates. so maybe POP4, stupid title or not will give me this.
