BINGO! PROBLEM FIXED! All you have to do to get the movie to continue past the bridge is load the original T2 through darkloader, then reload the 7th crystal. And like that guy said earlier, don't try to move with the keys till the video is completely done playing, i think this was causing a problem, just look around but don't try to move:)

I can't believe it's only now that I've come upon this mission, anyway I'm having a problem too..
Installed T2, from Steam.. moved it away from steamapps/common to my usual games folder. Installed TafferPatcher, installed EP2, installed Sound Enhancement pack, installed HD MOD, made all configurations. Thief II now loads up perfectly and the original missions play in glorious HD and run smoothly.
Using GarrettLoader 1.41 I install "The 7th Crystal" mission from thiefmissions.com. It goes fine, and the in game menu shows the graphic with the mission title, as I launch the mission, I get the 1st original mission "Running Interference".. :/
What should I do?

Use FMSel instead of Garrett loader.
Open cam_mod.ini (found in your thief directory) and uncomment (delete the semicolon) the line with ";fm". Save, and the built-in Fan Mission Selector should start. Specify an FM archive directory, and it will list all available missions.

Indeed, Garrettloader hasn't been updated to work with NewDark so FMSel or good ol' Darkloader are your best bets now.

I have just installed GarrettLoader 1.41 on a machine using Windows Vista SP2 and Thief 2 NewDark 1.23 without most of the enhancements. With FMSel, everything works fine, including a fresh downloaded version of "The 7th Crystal" from thiefmissions.com.
Installing Garrettloader 1.41 and getting it to run was a pain in the butt, because it ran (?) very slow, displayed several annoying messages (including some that appear to be error messages), but when it finally had digested my FM directory, I could install and play "7th Crystal" without any apparent problems.
Uninstalling GL did not work, although there were no error messages. But the program was still where it had been installed before. Oh, and GL 1.42 beta did not even install, not at all.
I have never been a friend of GarrettLoader, and I most likely never will be. In my opinion, FMSel and even old DarkLoader work more reliable. Give FMSel a try, and tell us whether it worked or not. Maybe we can develop a solution for the GarrettLoader problem then - if at all. But since GL did run "7th Crystal" on my machine, I think it's not GL alone that's going wrong here. I would not be too surprised if things didn't improve with FMSel.

I was able to get it to work using FMSel, after a rough start. But it loaded up fine and I watched the introduction already. DarkLoader gave me the same behaviour as GarrettLoader.. the menu graphic was there, however intro video is for "Running Interference" (Reliance upon others is weakness for the strong, but strength for the weak.").
Mission looks amazing, however I know it's almost 15 years old now. I see some windows of the castle using HDMod textures, other stuff, such as stone walls, are quite blurry in comparison, though. I suppose I can't fix that really, eh?
PS. From as much as I've read the old threads, people keep saying this mission might run into several bugs, there was a zip file of a patch mentioned, but none of those links work anymore. Should I be worried? I just want to make sure that I won't run into any problems as I keep discovering this wonderful mission.

If Darkloader is giving the same problem as Garrettloader, it means there's something wrong with the configuration of your Thief installation. FMSel might tide over those issues temporarily but it's worth reporting to people who handle patches, like voodoo47 or DJ Riff.

What do you mean? It's a clean install from Steam.. what could be wrong with it. All the original missions work perfectly. But you're probably right, I tried "Inverted Manse" just now and get the same thing :( Sigh.. what should I look into?

I don't think it's clean install any more, since you used Garrettloader/Darkloader. It would be a clean install if you use FMSel from the beginning.
