I'm a bit lost.
I'm trying to make Thief 2X work again on Newdark 1.24, but both methods don't give me an optimal result.
I first tried installing T2X, placing it in my Thief 2 folder and also running Newdark in the T2X-folder. Doing this makes the missions work on first glance, but the intro movie doesn't show. I'm really not sure if this has a simple solution.
My other way was messier - I copied the T2X folder, removed the Newdark stuff, removed the cfgs and some other things as per gnartsch's suggestion above. Then I zipped it up and put it in my FM folder, and started it through FMSel. Doing this got me the regular Thief 2 menu and Running Interference. Did I delete too much, or not enough?
Which way is better, and what should I do next? :P
