Far Cry2 was worth it just for the level editor, me and my lan buddies had some crazy fun with that.

Thing about PS3's Cell CPU is supposed to be fairly powerful, but difficult to program for. Multi-platform developers often don't have the time to optimise their games properly for the thing. Hence all of the sloppy ports 360->PS3 ports.
The Cell's architecture is quite different compared to the truly parallel multi-core CPUs that you have for PC and 360.

While I do hate the intellectual dishonesty or otherwise outright ignorance of passing off pretty games as "tech demos" let's not get ahead of ourselves by declaring Crysis, Far Cry 2 (or the original for that matter) or any Unreal game after 2K4 as
good games.
I can safely say that Far Cry 1 & 2 and Crysis are good games.
Far Cry 2 is definitely a flawed game, but unlike others small shit doesn't stop me from enjoying and being immersed in a title. Assassin's Creed was like this too. Oh and "Crysis is just like Far Cry, fuck that." arguments are also laughably ignorant, again get a clue.
Can't really comment on UT3, I've probably played it for an hour tops - and they were botmatches. Pure DM orientated competitive MP games bore me to tears. I bought it on sale off Steam purely for the potentially good SP TC mods released for it. Similar to why I purchased UT2k4 - purely for Deus Ex: Reborn.
