You are pretty good at this.

If Sony seriously does not even consider a major publisher's warnings then they're dumber than I thought.
Can't believe it took anybody this long to say it though.

I bet Activision still make loads of money off of the releases of Activision Sports Presents: Call of Duty 2010 and Guitar Hero on the PS3 platform. Also not forgetting that they add new Guitar Hero DLC tracks to the PSN store every week.
There's still the overlap of people wanting cheaper, more reliable Blu-ray players.

And it appears Sony have responded to Kotick's statements. Or more like passingly acknowledged them. Kotaku (
http://kotaku.com/5296976/sony-responds-to-activisions-threats-to-ditch-playstation) quote "Playstation spokesman" Patrick Seybold with a fairly typical corporate statement - vague, non-committal, "all is well, don't sell our stock" material.

PlayStation has tremendous momentum coming out of E3, and we are seeing positive growth with more than 350 titles slated to hit across all our platforms, including many anticipated games from our publishing partners. [...] We enjoy healthy business relationships with and greatly value our publishing partners and are working closely with them to deliver the best entertainment experience.
Looks like they're not biting.

They're really gung-ho about this 10-year-plan thing, aren't they.

LOL, love The Onion reference. That is such a bizarre stance on market share. Wow.

It's coming like a price drop is coming.

I so hope this happens. IMHO Sony really, really messed up not having backwards compatibility in the 1st place.
Who wants to play XBox exclusives? I'd think PS2 exclusives are more sought after.
