It may be good, but new ps2 is just $100 nowadays and takes a little space, so if anyone wants to play old games the absence of back compatibility is not a big problem.

It would be for me; I couldn't justify bringing two new systems into the house whereas one could squeak by.

If not, buy a PS2.
