Err, you list PS2 in there. Why do you need BC if you already have one?
Being able to upscale games to HD resolutions would be nice. I.e. I prefer playing problem free Xbox1 games on 360 if they're on the emulation list, since the games typically looks crisper than at 480p on the original hardware (also in the case of the 360, the gamepad is superior, bar the shit d-pad.).
Games that are superior on 360 off the top my head:-
* Halo 2
* Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly Director's Cut
* That Namco made Max Payne clone where you have the dog (the name of the game escapes me)

I know! I was surprised my gravatar wasn't something gormless-looking, personally.
I have never seen your 'gravatar'. What does it look like?
And I am considering changing my plans to get a 360 and going for a PS3 slim. I don't need the HDD, so I could get away with the Arcade model 360 for $199. But with the 56.8% failure rate for 360s and the PS3's being under 10% I am torn. I have 107 original Xbox games, so the backwards compatibility would be nice if my Xbox ever dies. The games (well around 75% of them) will still be playable.
The reliability is a HUGE concern. I went through several PS2s between launch and 2006. I don't want to relive that nightmare. I don't have any PS2 games anymore, so its lack of backwards compatibility isn't a deal breaker. I could just get a used PS2 slim for $50 anyway.
Also, the FREE PS Network access...BIG thumbs up. Fuck Live! and its fee-based subscription. I had it for 2 years and canceled it, as I didn't play console games online enough to really justify it anymore. But for free, I would dabble online or at least try out a new game's multiplayer features. That thar blu-ray don't hurt none neither ;) I have no immediate use for it, but I could get into it in the future and wouldn't be forced to purchase yet another piece of hardware when I do. Besides, I love combined features. The fewer black boxes stacked on my TV stand shelf, the better!

The other thing to consider about their network services; Live! limits more popular demos to Gold members only for a period of time after release. Also, things like themes and avatar packs cost MS points on Live! where they're free on PSN.

It amazes me, really. The Xbox online system just sounds like a rip-off. Pay to get stuff that you could get for free and so on PC or PS3. I can't get my head around it.
There seems to be a whole false economy in it if you are getting the higher end Xbox and then online access. I understand if you want the Arcade version and don't plan to play online; yeah its cheaper than the PS3. But imho if you are that short of cash that you want to buy an inferior machine like the Arcade version instead of a PS3 with built in BluRay, HD and free online access then it sounds like you'd be better off using your time to advance yourself and get a better goddamn job.

As has been pointed out here too, the PS3 comes default with wireless networking (as well as an ethernet port if you prefer wired).
I honestly prefer my PS3 to my 360 now. The only game coming up on the 360 I'm looking at buying is Mass Effect 2, where on the PS3 I'm spoiled for choice with upcoming titles, especially considering that if I buy multi-platform titles at all, I buy them on the PS3 as I know it won't break on me.
