Because it's wicked: (

(imagine Clams Casino, Mew, Grizzly Bear, Hudson Mohawke and Owen Pallett, lightly pulsed in a blender)
(Alternately, if you don't know those dudes, imagine the most interesting and just raw raddest album you've heard in months)

Of all those names, I recognise (and love) Mew, so I'll give it a listen.

This is really nice. Idiosyncratic, dense and meaty music. I didn't see the Owen Pallett reference until I got to 'Enough of Our Machines', which could have easily been on Heartland and no one would have been the wiser.

Wicked indeed. 'Easy' is absolutely gorgeous. Nice find. :thumb:

I only know Grizzly Bear from that list. The first minute or so of the album made me think "great, some more indie-rock" but I'm glad I kept on listening. I'm not entirely sold on the vocals (yet, as I know they will grow on me) but the music is simply great. Tightly composed, very instrument-driven, post-rock in nature but with more indie-rock vocals.
Thanks for the discovery, I think I'll listen to this a lot.

I don't listen to much, neither anything similar to this, but this does work. heard most of it, good stuff.

You're responsible for at least one more sold copy.
