I finally got around to installing CFW (v4.01 m33-2) onto my PSP slim. Could I please get some homebrewed application recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

PSP Filer is great for managing the files on your PSP. Watch out for Flash0.
PSPMP is a good media player, which adds more video and audio formats you can play.
I mostly play games though.

Music.prx lets you play mp3s while you are in a game
(

Also has the benefit of letting you change the clockspeed too, which you will pretty much want it at 333 if you are listening to mp3s and playing a game at the same time.
Bookr is a good text reader
I don't use many apps either though, mostly just games and emulators

Since you're packing a Slim, you could use FuSa for enhanced video-out support.
I don't know what else to suggest that isn't a game, though. The CFW on mine is generally used for games, like ports of Cave Story and SC2:UQM.

The best feature of custom firmware is the ability to copy your (legitimately purchased  ) UMDs onto a memory stick. Cuts down on load times and saves battery life.
Also, with a program called (
