Ha ha, true. I'm not going to be terribly surprised if Konami tries an X360 version, though. It was only going to be a matter of time, considering MGS2's console history.

He said MGS4 was the last game for him as director and in Solid Snake's storyline.
He's stated multiple times that that the Metal Gear name itself, via spinoffs or what not, will live on.

Maybe set in Chernobyl in the late 90s or early (pre-MGS) 2000s, with a situation similar to that in CoD4.

While I don't like the idea of a Metal Gear on the 360(because it's a godawful Microsoft console) it actually indicates that it might have a port sooner or later to the PC which makes me happy. I completely missed out on MGS4 because I don't have a PS3(I'm not rich) and I really hope that this next one is as great and well written(and has a brain achingly confusing plot) as the rest of the Metal Gear Solid games of which I am a big fan.
