Thanks, guys :D
Yes you did. BVR's job is to help their clients get work- that includes paying for college if the situation warrants. The problem is they're pretty counter-intuitive about it- see the examples I cited above. In other words, if you walk in with a crippled leg and ask for help, they won't help you unless
both legs are gone above the knee and they'll still make you pay for the crutch.
Aight, touche, granted you're talking to someone just under $100,000 in debt for school so don't expect much sympathy. I'm glad I don't fucking pay taxes in Cincinnati, or I'd have to booze it before I lose it:cool:. Lucky I've already done so tonight
Like they say, give em hell

Thanks to my original caseworker refusing to actually do her fucking job and work with me, I
do owe about $10k in student loans. I realize that's a far cry from $100,000 but it could have been entirely avoided if my caseworker hadn't been an unprofessional twat.
but thanks all the same
god knows i'd have (

Are you sure this job is SAFE for you?

I'll be in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cincinnati_Enquirer_Building">this</a> cozy building all day. :) Remember, I'm not actually going out there getting news. Which is fine by me- I learned the hard way that reporting ain't my bag.

Double that and you'll just be getting into the neighborhood of the bullshit law students have to deal with. :erg:
Congrats on finding what *is* your bag, though. Sounds like a good opportunity. :thumb:

of all the humorous nonsense and passive-aggressive silliness that goes up in the tags nothing has made me laugh quite as hard as "nightmare on elm street"
fuck you SD it hurts to breathe

Well, once I noticed that the Cincinnati Enquirer headquarters are located on Elm Street, the tag writes itself ;)

It took literally 2 seconds after clicking on the link dethtoll provided. Creepy? No. Beyond your capabilities - almost certainly.

I'm not going to argue with folks who lack a degree, but I will say that your ignorance is a great break from the challenge from folks that possess a degree (yet usually argue in favor of greater right-wing regulation)
