You know its funny, QuakeLive came out and I didnt even bat an eye at it. I must have been caught up in some other games. But now that I've finished Grimrock, and I saw Notch battle some dudes over a dispute (he won btw) via a Quake3 match (not Bethesda) I decided to give it a go and well lo and behold Q3 MP is just as addictive and visceral as it was twelve years ago.
So! I've been playing it again. And I'd like to find anyone interested in a duel with me! Its free, signup takes a second (no email confirmation required) and the plugin installs in a flash. Before you know it we'll be in a match and the hours will waste away.

Shit's still awesome after so many years. We had a quick match, he kicked my ass, BUT HE DIDN'T GET A FLAWLESS VICTORY, HAH! :D

You know its funny before every match it says "please enjoy this video from our sponsors" but I guess adblock doesnt let them play because I always just get that page and no video, and then my game starts. :P

I'd be up for this, I was bit of a quake3 gun back in the day, would have to coordinate times though because of the whole you know, time zone thing.

I do very well in T4 FFA, but Clan Arena is an entirely different beast. I'm like... tier .5 in clan arena. :eww:
