Yeah, I agree. It seemed Harvey was trying to sell (ride the coat tails of Looking Glass?) Dishonored throughout the entire discussion. I can't blame him for trying to market his game, but he should have kept with the topic.

I didn't really get the impression that Harvey was trying to sell his game at all, rather just having an honest discussion about his feelings towards LGS and how he and Arkane were influenced by them (which isn't much of a surprise since Arx was supposed to be Ultima Underworld 3).

The main thing I kept thinking while watching the panel was how unfortunate it is that Square is seemingly uninterested in working to preserve Thief by opening up the source to it and allowing the community to get it tuned up and running at its best. The day isn't quite here yet, but eventually there'll be a day where the games just aren't playable on modern systems. It's very clearly a case where a company knows there's something good there worth preserving, but is simply unwilling to get the gears turning in the right direction to make that happen.

What do they talked about?
I didn't realize Harvey Smith is involved in Dishonored. Now that has upped my interest in that game!

Old days, gaming including Thief, etc.

Not just Harvey Smith but our very own Digital Nightfall as well.

The two threads are now merged. Purah as well.

Interesting that Harvey Smith's credibility seems to be rising. I thought we had written him off after BlackSite: A51 and that iPhone game (and some had written him off after DX:IW).
