Question about Keypads. - by EvilFoo

My question is, is it still possible to get the right number for a keypad that you have not given a hint on? An example for me would be the keypad in Smuggler's place. There is no trace of a datacube with the code on it. Is it possible to guess a number and it actually working? If so, has anyone been successful?

Yes, you can guess if you want. Good luck <IMG SRC="shake.gif" border="0">

Every keypad has a code. As for the one in Smuggler's, you can just keep hitting the mirrior (The keypad opens up the mirrior to a shelf with a few goodies) with something like a crowbar and it'll brake, as I remember.

BTW the keypad number is 432. WHY DOESN'T ANYBODY EVER POST KEYPAD NUMBERS. Its not like they are spoilers or anything. Geez.

On my third time through the game, I wanted to go into the Luminous Path Compound in Hong Kong without talking to Maggie Chow first. The "1997" code didn't work! I cheated and used "ghost" to go into the compound. The Luminous Path guys either shot at me or smacked me with their swords. When I got to the basement, I used "ghost" to get through the painting thingy on the wall (the code didn't work). Tracer Tong wasn't there.
Heh-heh. Interesting.
