So this may seem like an unconventional question, but I am introducing my 6 year old niece to Thief and she is absolutely loving it! So far we have only played the mission "Christmas present" by Naks/P Forth, which has gotten her excited and she asks for mooooore. I am looking for suggestions for other missions where the guards are not seeing us as enemies right from the start so we can explore the thief world uninterrupted, because she gets scared with the aggressive guard voices when they see us. Anyone got any suggestions?

‘A Fathers Pride' was especially designed for fathers playing with their children, and better still you can change the picture at the top of the tower with one of your own pics of your child, what a treat to see their face when they get to see themselves in a fan mission.

(
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152251) This thread about missions with few guards etc. may also yield a few ones that might be right. For example, "Melancholy in Porto", mentioned in that thread, has no enemies at all, if I recall it correctly. Some of the missions from the "DromEd Beauty contest" mentioned there would also be interesting. From those ones I remember "Ride the Butterfly", in which the player can fly around a nice valley on the back of a butterfly, AFAIK, and also "The Clocktower", which places the player in a detailed but AI-wise empty clocktower.

My daughter (3) plays Fables of the Penitent Thief (mission 1 only) and Library of Bable.
No enemies attack you in either one. Fables has guards that will kick you out of the house, and kids playing hide and seek that will kick you out of the house, but no one attacks and nothing can hurt you (in mission 1). In Library of Bable, be warned that you can die. No one attacks you, but there are some laser beams that can kill you, and you can take fall damage (though no single fall is sufficient, unless you're trying to break the mission).

Out of 6 kids... only my middle of 3 daughters would play Thief.... her favorite is Rose Cottage. The other 5 don't care for the style of gameplay, you can lead a horse to water.....

A game about a criminal doing his crime missions... Will be hard to find some non-violent titles. But I can try:
Falling, in Love, TG, nicked
(
https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/28760/falling-in-love)
Can't remember any enemies there, but not 100% sure to be honest
The Four Emperors, TG, Grandmauden
(
https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/29056/the-four-emperors)
There shouldn't be any guard, but possibly there are some enemies. Great, casual mission.
The Lost City of Gazing Glass, TG, mtk
(
https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/7560/the-lost-city-of-gazing-glass)
The mission is quite empty but very enjoyable. Not sure about enemies to the fullest, again.
Upside Down, T2, zontik
(
https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/143/upside-down)
Pure fun. The only enemies are thieves guild students, who can be considered more funny than grumpy shouting swordsmans. Not sure if it fits the taste of younger ones, but I consider it kinda arcade mission.
Waterfront Racket, T2, Yandros et al.
(
https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/7004/waterfront-racket)
A Thief's Holiday 2004, T2, Yandros
(
https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/1864/a-thiefs-holiday-2004)
A Winter Holiday, T2, Timon
(
https://www.thiefguild.com/fanmissions/420/a-winter-holiday)
...
Now that you asked this, I think there could be a no-violence category created.
Or at least the Undercover category... This is also kind of recurring theme. I know there are a couple of missions, but couldn't remember any right away. Category would help.
