Just out of curiosity what would happen to the rest of the game if you killed gunther way back when on Liberty Island(where your supposed to rescue him), has anyone tried this?? let me know.. :p

You probably can't. Certain characters have god mode until certain plot points are reached.

I tried that a while ago :)
Nope. you can't kill him. IIRC, he doesn't even return fire. He just stands there :D

When I returned from the warehouse raid to UNATCO HQ, I tried to nuke the guards and the MIB dudes. They were all invincible (only gas grenades had any effect at all -- non-lethal). :(

after you find wounded paul in that hotel and he tells you to get out... what did you do?
since i played with easy (yeah, easy... i'm the kind of guy who always goes easy first) , i just threw the rooms full of gas grenades and killed everyone :) same with everyone outside... so i thought, wow! i actually CAN change the course of story... then i reached in that park and gunther hermann + lotsa troops and bots were waiting...
i killed all bots and wasted
ALL my ammo on gunther hermann but he just wouldn't die...
finally i didn't even have darts left <IMG SRC="shake.gif" border="0">
anyway, i didn't like that one bit... it kind of killed some of the game's appeal for me... :(
