Is there anyway to modify the City NPC spawn rate?
For example the guy in the green shirt who looks like a Pirate who walks back and forth in the Alley near the Tavern... I have literally made a mound of him and his clones next to the wall. Sap one... wait 1 min and his clone is there to take his place.
And its not just him, it is all the City NPCs and to a more limited degree the City Guards.
And I'm frankly getting tired of it. :weird:
So I'd like to know if there is a *.ini hack or any other way to stop it from happening.

Why do you want to whack the ruffian behind the inn, or any of the other civilians? They won't do anything to you, anyway.

I don't know of any way to adjust the city AI as you want, but it probably is possible somehow.
Generally you get best results in the city by being more sneaky and less confrontational.

Thats the only way to get some of their loot... And I like the sound the sap makes when it cracks someones skull... :ebil:

So technically you'd want to speed it up, or just quit knocking them down so they don't respawn? :weird:

You mean the bracelets and other things that can't be pickpocketed? According to the tooltips, you should be able to rob people by threatening them with a weapon. I've never actually tried it myself, though...

I did that (whit my dagger)... and they ran off whit their jewelry on them... and alerted the watch... and I quickloaded... :erg:

Somehow, I was a bit skeptical about it. I guess it's an unimplemented feature, then.
But is it actually necessary to kill people to get their jewelry? Won't knocking them out do the same thing? Or will unconscious people respawn as quickly as dead ones?
