FWIW, it's not a "code that unlocks levels". Steam actually had to download a fairly large chunk of content that isn't on the 3 DVDs.

Two things:
1) STOP SPELLING IT "TUN." It is either TON or TONNE, and you're not European. You've been corrected on this and you keep USING IT. Intelligent people learn from th- oh wait nevermind
wait
wait wait wait
you're not just using it 'cuz it's your OWN spelling and you're FIGHTING THE MAN are you?
2) way to fucking COMPLETELY ignore what other people are talking about and go off on your own tangent. I've called you on this before and you NEVER address it: if you had
any stones whatsoever, you wouldn't buy the games you're raging against. At all. Not even used. That you do, makes you a fucking hypocrite. What do you say to that? Huh?
Give me a fucking answer already. You're not staging a protest in any way, buying it used just to "spite the developer for biting the hand that feeds," or whatever similar rhetoric you like to parrot incessantly. Buying the game used has no meaning to it. Hell, not buying it at all has no meaning either, they're not going to suffer financially just because one self-diagnosed Aspie decides to spend his SSI check on Faygo and wheat thins instead. But there you are, complaining about how this or that company betrayed you, and then you always whip out the classic, I'MA BUY THIS GAME USED ON MY EXBAWX!!! THAT'LL SHOW THEM!!! Fuck me, that's actually almost as bad as pirating the game after trashing the company.
Prove you have a pair and don't buy, pirate, or play the game. It may not mean anything to id, or any other company you're protesting against, but it'll mean something to your little blackened damp rag of a soul you've forsaken for red suspenders.

He's going to buy the game and he's going to enjoy every second of it, then he's gonna get on here and tell us how bad it is. Haters gonna hate.

I wonder how it is implemented on the 360 version of the game... especially because I thought 360 games didn't mandate a hard drive. Surely you can't store those maps in the small 512 MB of flash.
Someone who experiences this, please share.

The texture streaming performance is basically determined by how many cores are processing it. That's why the PC texture popup fix involves changing how many texture streams it's processing at one time rather than increasing the amount of RAM/VRAM the textures are using.
