I want randomized door/pad codes each time you play, to force you to actually PLAY the game and not read the walkthrough :D Maybe random passwords (not logins) but that would require some nifty coding. Just a thought.

In some ways that might be a pretty cool addition to the game. It would get rid of the "weirdness" of knowing their passwords without having played to get them, that occurs when you replay it.
Of course on the other hand, it can come in handy to be able to use your memory / walkthrough to bypass a section if you don't want to play it.
Also, finding the passcode should actually be fun! There should be more in the way of finding them, than just walking up to a desk and reading a data-cube.

I agree about finding passwords being more than just reading them off a datapad.
Here's a thought. In DX1, the password to Alex Jacobson's computer was "Calvo". The word is featured prominently on a poster nearby his terminal. So, if J.C. wants to figure out the password, he can look for clues in the environment.
Another example: Remember all the books laying around, that you could read portions of? Suppose someone has one of these books near their terminal, and the password was, say, the name of one of the main characters.
As for logins, the login would already be inserted on the user's terminal. I.E., Alex's terminal, when logging in, would already say "ajacobson", so you don't have to go and guess the user's login. But if you wanted to open Manderley's account, you could delete "ajacobson", type in "jmanderley" and there you go, assuming you can figure out Manderley's password.
Maybe I'm thinking through this too much, but that's how I see it working.
