I use the 'find in page' all the time these days.
Still, if I come across spoiler walls in the future, I'll see what I can do to reduce them a little.

True - but of course we taffers live on the bleeding edge of mission releases and that means that lots of people play a mission the moment it gets released - and may of course get stuck shortly thereafter.
A comprehensive walkthrough (including secrets etc.) often isn't and probably can't be available at this early stage - and I certainly don't blame anyone for it.
The situation may have changed completely a few weeks later but this won't help early downloaders, naturally.

I have to be really stuck to use walkthroughs.
R Soul, (wonderful play on words, by the way. :laff: ) that's a major pain right there...on the spoilers, I mean :p

Not to thread-jack, but I have, well, the opposite complaint.
I hate it when someone asks a question, then edits their post saying "Never mind, figured it out!" then leaves everyone hanging. Well, if YOU had trouble with it, maybe you can help out other people with the same difficulty and post a hint?
=P

EmperorSteele, I never thought of that. Good idea.

It was funny when someone not only did that, but didn't say what he'd been looking for:

100% yes on this one too! I only look for spoilers when I am really stuck for an hour or so. Most times I walk away and try again. If on a 3rd try I am still stuck, I then search. It sucks frogs eggs to search for a hint only to find the answer is "I figured it out..." I have been playing much older missions lately and hate to reopen ancient threads to ask for some hint for something probably no one will know. Some authors are looooong gone, so no help there. A lot of these "figured it" posts are from those older days.
As for spoilers in general, well yes, I have seen too much and got spoilers I did not want while looking for something else. Just part of the risk. Sometimes if I am thinking about it, I try to put some context arounf the spoiler to help people know what I am asking. Full paragraph spoilers with just 3 or so intro words are silly :joke:
