I got that one, though not sealed. Was so happy to find it I clicked the "Buy it now" button right away, 40 USD. ($30 + shipping to Europe)
It's slightly used, but everything is intact and in very good shape. Even vouchers for upcoming LGS games or demos (!). I do realize it was expensive for a used game, but it's a collector item and I don't regret one cent of that purchase. :D
It is funny how sought after that game has become. You have to do what you have to do to get it. Good going raph. Collectors item indeed. At least you've got a copy!
BA gazes at her lovely thief gold trapezoid box.

I have a Thief Gold trapezoid box. That and the big box of System Shock 2 were the ones that I had to save when I was coerced into throwing out 90% of my PC games boxes over the summer. I regret not saving Wing Commander 3 already.

That reminds me of my Thief 2 purchase on Amazon: Got it used for $1.99 +(3.49 shipping) = five and half of the best gaming bucks I ever spent!
I was fortunate enough to purchase Thief Gold new from ebgames.com for $10 back when Thief 3 was coming out...

Thief GOLD. They want Thief GOLD.

Can't people just fight back and forth by raising it one cent at a time? If that was the deal, it would never end. Think about it... no one minds raising one cent. If you go one cent at a time it will never feel like a big number. No one is going to drop out because something is one cent too much. They can always go that extra cent. Paradox, anyone?

Yeah, I got that too. Or 1.25 or something like that. Though I already have it, I figured for that price I would be able to stop worrying about misplacing my disks (which I already did once. . .*grumps* case-swapping). Got the Dark Project for .99 cents or something there too. But yeah, I want Gold, if just because of the extra missions, and the bug fixes and the fact that I played it first, I'm not sure I can feel the same way about the Dark Project without that extra. :)
Of course, I'm not positive yet, either, as I ordered that last year and it still hasn't come. Heh. Thats what I get for having it shipped to my friend instead to avoid duties. lol At least I know its safe and she'll send it on eventually.
And as for raising the bids by one cent. . .I'd think that would be 'legal' to the bidding system, but yeah, you'd end up with the time running out before the people drop out and you'd still end up with whoever winning who happens to get that last little bid in. Also some of those auctions have a 'minimum' bid increments. I'm still not sure I like the 'auction' system, though I see the good side of it too. Perhaps if I could find something to sell and be the seller instead of the buyer I'd like it a whole lot more. But I'm not good at letting go of my stuff. :) I can't even find that much to sell at a garage sale, never mind an auction.

Looks like someone never used eBay before.
