I bought Thief Gold from Trygames.com and I got an exe setup file which I have complete access to. I can edit all the crf files as much as I want. I didnt even have to apply any patches to get it to run! I did however apply the Thief II textures and meshes, and I use darkloader 4.3 for FMs and playing Thief Gold. So not all the download versions are bad! Just a little on the expensive side, $19.99, but the cd version isn't exactly cheap anymore. If anyone wants more info, PM me! :)
