Rubbish - there's
no way that Kermit or any of them would be as incoherent and rambling.
(or do you mean sock puppet...?)

So in other words, Wall Street is the wrong place to be protesting. They need to storm Falls Church instead.
Makes sense to me.

One of the things the map really hammers home is that the "1%" is a pretty silly way to quantify wealth, because it entirely ignores cost of living. There's a reason people make more in the big metropolitan areas, and it's not just because FAT CATS ARE ALLERGIC TO THE COUNTRYSIDE.

That's aside from the absolute arbitrariness of separating two groups of people on such a flimsy basis to begin with even if you could fairly quantify it (we are the 99% by purchasing power), especially when the category you're siding with contains 99.98% of the population. Could you come up with a more supremely vacuous social & political foundation for your movement?
Something like the Contract with America's 60%-Rule (no proposal without 60% popular support), Nixon's Southern Strategy, Clinton's Third-Way strategy (& Blair's from what I understand), Reagan's Blue-Collar turn, Obama's positive turn on anti-incumbency, the Tea Party's ban on thinking & book-reading and its singleminded anti-establishment mantra ... those are strategies that build you a political movement that means & does something, and you know what's in and what's out.

Yeah but it's so much more catchy than anti those people who are subverting the political process by buying radio, television, and congress thus getting old people to vote against their own self interests while being mad at those damn liberals who are trying to help them. Plus, how do you fit in the pay my bills hippies?
