It's an emergency evacuation plan. It was sent to "Idioteka" site because of the way it is drawn - the only meaning of these countless arrows can be "in case of emergency please make a good panic".

I know it too well.
It's a strange cathedral because first it was never finished, it's like a gothic cathedral cut in half.
And second, there is a massive palace attached to it. It was for the religious who lived and worked here. Now it's the town hall and various museums.
I visited almost every room in it, I even went to the cathedral's roof and towers once when I was a kid (it's been closed for years due to restorations, and the danger it represented). Only places closed to public are unknown to me, like the sacristy and such, but during my studies and numerous visits I gathered some plans so I can imagine these "hidden" rooms.
I made thousands of photos of it, and I go back visiting it almost each month. It is the "Builder's cathedral" in my fms ;)

Has anyone got some good pictures of the Kölner Dom? That's my favourite and most loved Gothic building in the world, but because of its setting, and the way the buildings are crammed around it, I never was able to take normal pictures of it.
