Hey taffers! Long time no sneak, and for those aren't in the know, well, a taffer is what ya get called if you steal the cookie from the cookie jar and get caught by the maid, or at least I think that fat Bafford's jeweled scepter looked an awful lot like something sweet when I saw it lying--unprotected, I might add--in his throne room. Good thing I have a soft spot in my heart and have been known to be quite the philanthropist in my day, heh heh... Either way, it's got a much more, shall we say, attentive owner these days, and my coin purse isn't hurting either.
Intros aside, I found these pics of a self-proclaimed Garrett-lookalike and thought I'd share with fellow thieving taffers and tafferettes (that's the term, right?). Maybe something to lighten the mood in the long wait for yet another failed Teef [sic] reboot? :joke: Okay okay, so the taffer is me, but not sure if I'd ever posted a thread like this :-p

Yeah, I actually got that scar when I was quite young, before Thief came out... I'm 32 now. I played the demo on a gaming magazine CD my stepmom's family gave me since they got tons of 'em, and was addicted, although just a kid when Thief: The Dark Project came out so of course never envisioned I could be "da man" himself, and frankly, my voice just doesn't have the grit Stephen Russell conjures up everytime. Just posting these in jest, I'm sure I posted a pic of myself years ago on that particular thread but yeah, seeing the pics I just took reminds me I really need to shave (lazy taffer!). Cleanshaven Garrett wannabe I shall become! ^_~

Not too far off. You need to work on a more sinister eye/brow look. ;)
Also try a green contact on one eye, or photoshop it.

Ha, yeah, I think I was unconsciously in "online dating photo" mode (i.e., no grimacing or close-mouth since it makes me look pissed/sad), and anyway, it was supposed to be more my response to the games in photo (certainly not screaming for joy at new Teef, ha ha). I think some black eyeshadow would also be in order, but never really done that before :laff:

Thanks, mate :) I wasn't actually going for a full-on Garrett cosplay (the skull hoodie was something I did for my own enjoyment), but certainly thoughts to consider if I ever show up as Garrett for Halloween!
