I recently replayed Escape from Butcher Bay and was again amazed at how much Riddick in the game actually looks like Vin Diesel. It's probably the one game I've played where a computerised version of a real person looks most like the original.
What other convincing game versions are there of real people? I remember the NBA games doing a pretty good job with some players and failing miserably with others - perhaps some faces lend themselves more to polgyons.

Sid Meier as the tutorial guy in Civilization IV ;)

David Cage in the Fahrenheit demo. The test dummy next to him had more personality, though.
And that French actor fella in Onimusha 3, whatsisname-Reno something. Jean Reno, yeah.

He is? But he wasn't in Hero. Or Kung-Fu Hustle, even. And that's an insta-fucking fail, mate!

I think Thirith meant rendered 3D models of real famous people, not actual footage of hired real famous people?

Neo occasionally looks pretty realistic in Path of Neo, but that may be because he's portraying an actor not known for his massively expressive facial action.

Chow Yun Fat's character is pretty accurate in Stranglehold, which in itself is a reasonably fun Max Payne style shooter. Nothing stellar, just good popcorn gaming.

No kidding. Case of art imitating life there, eh? ;)
