If it's a proper 360 controller, try and get the MS certified drivers, because it doesn't sound like it's mapped your keys 100% correctly.
The back button should be your gestures menu, and clicking the left analog stick should do absolutely nothing.
Just to test this out, are your shoulder buttons used for attacking and blocking?

I've killed 4 skeletons, mofo. They ain't coming back yet. I'll kill a few more just to be sure.
and they probably won't because there aren't any necromancers in the graveyard.
edit: got cocky and decided to take on the big ass one. I died. :(

It's just for co-op, and then only after you beat a boss and want to do a little victory dance. You can always access it from the ingame menu, so you've still got it if you want it.
