@zajazd: Those are
newer missions? Ancient history since New Dark arrived 2+ years ago.
Yes those are from the last 7+ years as the OP asked. I recommend learning to read if you are to visit forums.

Wow... popcorn in hand... what will be the reply? Play nice, guys :joke:
OP, you have a big bag of newer FMs to play. Just start downloading them one by one and trying them out. Unless you play marathon style, you have a year's worth or more play to go through. My suggestion is just to try them all - some that get little to no recommendations are actually pretty good. Some that get many accolades might not be your cup of tea. The trick is to start playing one and if it "sucks" to you, just stop playing and delete it, then move on.
And definitely update to the new dark. As said before, it does correct many errors. I have played many very old FMs (all T2 though) that had been a bit buggy and they seem improved with new dark on a replay. Just the new mantle alone is worth the update. Be warned though that the latest FMs that exploit new dark's abilities tend to be extreme CPU and video card hogs. Some will slow down to 14 frame per second or less - even locking up. The FM makers of these typically warn that the game needs super resources to play - that older (read even just a few years old) may not be able to deal with the FM. The semi-good news is this trend has only been around for the last year or so, so most pre-2014 FMs are fine. There are exceptions for FM contests where limits were pushed in 2013. Still, even my dinosaur AMD 64 3400 with 2 GB of RAM and a NVidia 610 card will play all FMs - so far...
And that reminds me, check out the many contests that happened since you stopped playing. The Halloween, 64 cubed, 48 hour, etc, were all excellent. Some great play there. Again, if you get super frustrated with an FM, or if the game just will not play (even with all updates in place), then just quit that one and move on. It all free! :thumb:

Hey guys, just wanted to again say "thank you", and let you know I tried out a few of those missions last night. Definitely impressed with newdark and the new textures/poly counts. I played a bit of "Rose Cottage", very creepy :) And also about 40 minutes into "Hammered". I was trying to ghost, but this place is so littered with guards I decided a couple strategic blackjacks wouldn't hurt too much.
Really cool, and looking forward to trying more!
