World of Goo was the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. Stacking's another fun one too. If she enjoyed Botanicula, she'd probably like adventure games like Drawn: Dark Flight, even though it is a bit dark and only 'cute' in terms of some of the puzzles.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I will investigate each and every one and then order them in sequence of how much I think she'll like them and then drip feed them as she completes (or stops mentioning, indicating that she's gone off it) each one.

I just read about that. Quite tempted. Not dissimilar to when I watched Audition with an ex once, having told her it was a love story.

I haven't played it yet, but I've heard very good things about Recettear.

I don't think anyone could really enjoy Recettear if they don't have extensive background in JRPGs and the associated mechanics + dialogue quirkiness. I personally hate it.
Thirding World of Goo. If you've got a 360 pad, getting her into Psychonauts can also be worth it.

Ok, WoG seems like a good 'un then - will get that in line :)

Chicks dig Psychonauts.

The Lego games?

Games which just use mouse movement and clicks are more what I'm after. She's never gamed in her life, so probably doesn't have the muscle memory for that kind of control. I suppose it can't hurt to get her started though. Will keep them in mind.
