I'd much rather see TI and II done Thief III style, just because the graphics are gorgeous and I love how T3 was done in general. I wish it were possible.

If the T3 engine weren't so sloppy, I would be in full agreement. Alas.

General gist is that those levels were designed for a different engine. They do stuff T3 can't and don't take advantage of some things T3 does. So no, there's never been much more than a passing interest. It's not that the original missions arn't cool as hell - rather T3 isn't a particularly good platform for them and vice-versa.

well....there's always the dark mod.
And I'm using one of Targa's custom AI meshes for the noble women that walk the street in T3
(yes he made their meshes for thief 2 and they look great!)

Sorry to go off topic and all, but I didn't feel like starting another thread. Is Targa still around and making Thief models? I really liked his models and have been downloading them like crazy lately.

I don't know. He says he's done with thief yet every couple months when I check his site there's always something new.
Hence the noble lady.
