The series of C&C are soon releasing a new game of theirs. It's pretty great, search for a RA3 Demo video and youll see.
There's one problem though, that personally troubles me a little bit.
It's said to require justa 64 mb vRam, but atleast a Geforce 6800 (oh come on, there cannot normally be a GF6 with a 64 vram). I've got Radeon 9000, which is somewhat like GeForce 4, 128 vram. Could i possibly run this game? I'm too eager to wait for the released version and realise it won't run lol.

Time for an upgrade buddy. Specs for the beta says ATI Radeon X1800 or higher, so it's gonna be in that range. 9000 sounds way too old, even on low everything it'll struggle, provided it runs at all.
I ran cnc3 on 9800pro and it ran aight, but it wasn't pretty.

I forgot to mention i'm not a graphic whore :cheeky:.
I run C&C3 just fine with mostly low sets, but still...

Normally I'd be right there with ya, but these recent games, especially RTS games just look SO BAD on lowest, it's like looking at moving globs of frozen vomit.
Wait for the demo I guess. With a lot of tweaks I bet it'll run, but a few bucks on a new card will save you a ton of headache. That's money well spent to me.

Huh. I'd rather get a new comp. But that'll not happen until i make money for myself either. And that prolly won't happen for years. Huh :cheeky:. We'll see.
So back to Red Alert 3...
The unit, which could jump on mountains looked awesome. But units with both water and ground driving support made me feel, like they made water to be the same as ground, but i guess it won't be so bad. Only 1 resource collector? What's up with that lol.

About the amphibious units: not all of them are. There's still a lot of difference between water and land. It does provide for interesting gameplay though. One of the first games I played (I'm in the beta), the opponent attacked me with a swarm of ground units, decimating my base. I managed to escape with my MCV to sea though, and start rebuilding there. Since the guy only spammed land units pretty much, I managed to rebuild my base on water before he built up a fleet. He did beat me in the end, but it was a good game.
About resource collecting: I don't really know hat you mean. You can build multiple collectors. The difference is that you have nodes instead of fields, and using multiple collectors for a node doesn't really speed up collection since they have to wait in line. That however forces you to expand to other nodes on the map, which is pretty much a good thing for gameplay.

The only thing I can say about that is... OH SNAP

That last person to say Red Alert 3, the one who holds three fingers up, that russian dude, looks a bit like Michail from Lost. Are they the same actor?
I guess they didn't go for the serious approach with RA3.
