I never got Stalker to run properly till I got Vista.
Havent tried any Dark Engine games. But SS1 worked fine on XP with SSP. havent tried that yet with vista

Like a dream, but you have to install Thief2 first, don't know why.
edit, dunno about the first system shock. But Baldur's Gate 1&2 work perfectly as well, really just about everything that gave me trouble with XP works on Vista, sadly a lot that worked with XP doesn't.
