So what? If you want to play the game on XBox360 and PS3 side by side and jack off to all the graphical differences you can find then you should be sent to the stocks.

that's usually only noticable if you have a big screen or a direct comparison. My friend has a PS3 and a HDTV and it does not look "muddy" or "low-rez" and it's still beautiful enough to enjoy it, I mean, we didn't expect much since it's a console, so we were surprised that it turned out really well in that departement. as long as the gameplay works and there are not too many gaps in quality you won't notice the missing pixels. missing textures, crazy horses, shit AI and repetetive missions are a bigger problem, but then again...it's rockstar. But it's really trying to deliver a story and is - so far - more successful than GTA4 was for me. but in contrast to Mafia1 or ...Bioware Rockstar is still in its infancy concerning believable characters, setpieces and memorable stories.
well, I aint gonna play it much since I hope for a later PC release, if not - I don't see it becoming a GOTY contender considering ME2 or the upcoming Mafia2 whose trailers are like 100times better than whole missions in RDR, MP is pretty uninteresting for longterm play.....bargain bin ...IF
the "another random open-world game" feeling is getting on my nerves already. I only hope I don't hate driving/riding once Mafia gets released.

Order placed though I'm not sure the code actually did anything. :erg: Still, even without it, it's a bit cheaper than play.com which I was otherwise going to order it from. :)

Well, shit on a stick. 30 days for both him and deth seems a little... excessive for a normal forum spat.
About the sub-HD thing, yeah, I heard that. It's not really that noticeable though - games like Siren and GTA IV operated at similarly pared down resolutions, and they look more or less fine. It was only earlier, when quincunx and/or excessive blur caused the infamous 'vaseline' effect, that shit started to look ganky.
PS3 porting has improved some since those days, so at least that's not too much of an issue now.

Someone earlier was complaining about the horse and I just dont see it??? (lol not invis bug pun). It rides just like AC. Been playing Free Roam with a Posse for like 4 hours now. T_T
